Chateau Vieux Robin Five generations of winemakers have worked on this estate from 1840, which was first called “Aux Anguilleys”, and then “Domaine des Anguilleys”, until the end of the Second World War. In order to fit into the distribution system back then (focusing on brokers and merchants far moreso than today), the estate then became a Chateau and was renamed after one of its parcels.
Today, the parents of the present owner, Maryse Roba, are incredibly proud of all that has been achieved at the estate. In 1973 Marysa married Didier Roba, a Medocan of Belgian ancestry. Together they have presided over the property’s affairs and quality has steadily improved as a result. Her parents, together with their son Olivier, all contribute to the running of the estate.
